Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is great for working with people who have  emotional trauma. We store painful experiences in the amygdala, a part of the brain. EFT works with recoding this part of the brain. I have successfully used this technique on clients suffering seizures due to trauma, reducing their multiple daily seizures dramatically.

 

I have also used this technique to help someone who was in a distressing car crash, that caused serious pain. They were afraid to get back into the car, or even ride a bus without getting flashbacks. In 1 session they were able to reduce the majority of the fear.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
